Slapstick by Kurt Vonnegut
I’ve just finished reading Slapstick by Kurt Vonnegut. The first thing that went through my head was how only one writer ever could make me feel both proud and shame at the same time.
Slapstick follows the pattern of a past, ignorant to the repercussions of it’s actions. A present, on the brink of disaster, and a future, good-heartedly falling all over itself making things worse. I don’t know how he makes it work every time. He is amazing - what a talent. Bless you KV.
