So I impulsively decided to give NaNoWriMo a shot this year.  That kind of explains my absence for the last few days, all of my free time has been going to try and reach the 50,000 word mark by the end of the month.  It’s tough but I’ve just reached 30,000 and feel confident of finishing now.  It is actually getting easier as I get further along.  The story is kind of telling itself.  Chances are I’ll be editing a 50k word manuscript for the rest of my life trying to find the good bits, but I’m sure it will be worth it on November 30th when the sleepless nights, indented writing finger and caffeine OD’s are finally over with.
